| I’ve never had a website before. How should I prepare? Start by bookmarking websites you love. I will create an interactive, detailed Site Outline at the onset of our project with references to other websites in your field. I also include a category with links to sites that are visually interesting. Why should I work with you? Because you will get so much attention from me. I work with clients to develop a website and brand that represents who they are and where how they want their business represented. It is a collaborative effort, as I know the best way to show you off, and you are the expert in your field. Most of my client relationships are ongoing - we continue to work together to promote their business (see the list below). What kinds of services do you offer? YES. When you send me ‘stuff’ to approve, how long do I have to reply? As long as you need. But you may receive an email from me, just checking in . . . When and where can I reach you? Email is best. Because I’m often in the middle of coding and creating your website, I may not respond right away to email or phone calls. Please allow 24 hours for returns, or contact me to schedule a phone or skype appointment. What happens when the site is done, but I need changes? Reasonable maintenance is included in my initial fee. This includes copy changes, posting of new photos and basically anything else that takes less than 20 minutes. I think I want a blog too. Can you style out my blog? YES. Can you create a banner for my existing blog? YES. Can you brand my twitter background to match my site? YES. Can you brand my facebook page? YES. Can you refer me to someone for headshots? For printing? I have wonderful printers and photographers I recommend in both Los Angeles and Portland. And there's always VistaPrint + Kinko's for simple + fast jobs. Do you make logos? YES. Do you handle website copy? I can work with you to develop your website copy. I also work with 3 different writers (a comedy writer, a television writer + a novelist) who we can hire to help us out. |
